WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF THE NANNY?
All nannies are primarily concerned with the very important responsibility of the delivery of quality child care. Secondarily, they have the tasks of light housekeeping and family errands. All nanny schedules will be mutually agreed upon by contract specifying conditions of employment prior to the actual commencement of employment. Although we have many part-time nannies, the conventional work week of the nanny is approximately 45-50 hours.
Typical wages range from $10-$20/hr, depending on the level of responsibility.
Light housekeeping, as defined by RJM & Associates, generally consists of those tasks revolving around the care of young children. Included might be upkeep of the children's bedrooms and play areas, children's laundry, preparation and cooking of the children's meals, straightening up of the kitchen and family room, car pooling, grocery shopping, and assistance with family dinner preparation and clean up. Also included might be any other tasks that are mutually agreed upon by the employer and nanny. It is our experience that the needs of the children are best served when the housekeeping responsibilities are clearly less important than the child care responsibilities.
FEE PAYMENT?
Our agency application fee is $305. This fee is payable immediately upon completion of our application. Prompt payment of the fee is the basis for our no longer representing the candidate to other clients. For your convenience, all or a portion of the fee may be paid via Master Card, Visa, or American Express.
